About Power Services Group

Power Services Group (PSG) presents an alternative to the OEM for power plants and turbine operators in the power generation and industrial process markets.

PSG was founded on the combined legacies and experience of all of the Airco Inc. companies, Turbine Generator Maintenance, and Orbital Energy Services—all companies with a solid track record and reputation.

We are pleased to offer the marketplace a U.S.-owned turnkey service provider – completely unaffiliated with any OEMs.  This independence from the OEMs allows us to provide customers with an unbiased opinion for their power plant needs – focusing on doing what is best for our customers.  We are proud of the fact that we are one of very few U.S.-owned companies in our marketplace; and are honored to keep jobs and revenue flowing into the United States of America.

Combined, the three legacy companies have been in the marketplace for over 75 years.  Power Services Group offers vast industry experience and expertise, allowing us to provide customers with the knowledge to guide them through any situation or circumstance they may be facing.

Airco began in 1994 as an Industrial Maintenance contractor in Savannah Georgia supporting piping and mechanical services in the local industrial market.  Shortly thereafter, Airco had their first opportunity to provide union support for turbine field services within Southern Company.  After that successful project, Airco spread their support to other power plants, and has become an aftermarket leader in union field services.  This was the beginning of the successful growth of our steam and gas turbine field services along with other rotating equipment projects in both the power generation and the industrial markets.  Airco has built a solid reputation of quality and value for both our customers and employees.

Turbine Generator Maintenance, Inc. (TGM) was founded in 1986 as a steam turbine generator maintenance company.  The company has seen exponential growth for over 30 years, ultimately becoming the premier alternative to the OEM for non-union turbine services.  In 2001, TGM added a combustion turbine service division, and a generator service division was added in 2009 – becoming a complete turnkey service provider.

Orbital Energy Services, founded in 1996, is the natural evolution of legacy company Orbital Tool Technologies.  With the acquisition of Century Turbine Repair in late 2013, the integrated company set a new standard of service excellence with a broader portfolio, greater choice, flexibility and responsiveness, and well-engineered value-added solutions.  The Gainesville, Georgia valve repair facility is one of the largest, most sophisticated, valve facilities in the country.  Orbital Energy Services is a value-driven organization, combining the collective technical knowledge and industry experience to form the best team in the industry.  We are committed to safely providing service excellence in everything we do.

With these three legacy companies now together, Power Services Group is the leading non-OEM service provider in the industry.  We are looking forward to servicing our customers in the manner and respect in which they deserve – bringing them outstanding customer service, safely, on-time and on-budget.
